Limestone and marble river stones, dieameter 5 – 30 cm, steel cables, electric motor
Pendulous limestones, lined up closely, touch each other slightly and pass on the rotation. With the mass of the stones and their uneven surface the attached stones are rotated accordingly. The central stone, the unmoved mover, is connected to a motor via a steel cable and provides a continous impulse.
With the different diameters of the stones, all hanging at flexible steel cables, the result is an ongoing but never the same process of building up and relieving tension. Dynamics of the single stones lead to an overarching flow in the complete constellation.
